Sam Johnson

Sam Johnson joined the firm in 2025, practicing in the areas of Native American, energy, and natural resource law.

In law school, Sam earned both a JD and a masters in environment and natural resources. As a law student, Sam interned for the Honorable Kelly H. Rankin, Chief Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. Sam was also a member of a natural resources moot court team that got 5th in the nation in 2025 at the National Environmental Moot Court Competition.

When he’s not practicing law, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and watching sports.
